COCA-COLA CAKE

2 cups flour (unsifted) 1 cup Miniature 1 cup coca cola or Pepsi

Marshmallows 1/8 tsp salt

2 sticks butter (not margarine) 1/4 cup cocoa

2 cups sugar 2 eggs

1 cup buttermilk 1 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring

1 tsp baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°. (Roast pecans while oven is preheating). Mix dry ingredients in

large bowl. (form a well in the middle of dry ingredients). Bring butter,cocoa and coke to

a boil, (just dump all 3 items in a pot- mixture will not lump). Pour hot mixture to dry

ingredients (stir). Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla (mixture will be very thin); add

marshmallows. Pour into greased- floured deep Pyrex dish or cake pan. Bake @ 350°

for 45 minutes or until done. Put icing directly onto hot cake in dish/cake pan.

Fudge icing

1 tsp vanilla flavoring pecans 1/3 Cup Coca Cola or Pepsi

1 stick butter (not margarine) (Optional: Roasted with or

1/4 cup cocoa without butter

1 box powdered sugar

Pour powdered sugar into mixing bowl. Bring to a bowl, butter, cocoa and coke (just dump

all 3 items in a pot (mixture will not lump).Add hot mixture to powdered sugar, flavoring and

pecans. Ice the cake while it's still hot in the dish/cake pan.
